Monthey Skating Rink

Monthey's skating rink infrastructure is about 30 years old.

Above all, the rink radiates the glorious past of Monthey's Hockey Club. More recently, in 2005, packed full to the last seat and in front of 3,200 spectators, it hosted the grand finale of the European Youth Olympic Festival.

Besides ice-hockey, Monthey's skating rink is of course also open to the public and schools.

It also houses a school for figure skating and, as regards to curling, hosted the 2004 Chablais International Curling Cup during a 3-day event for more than 30 teams.

Monthey's skating rink is owned by the town of Monthey and is managed by an independent association.

In addition to all the standard commodities of a conventional skating rink, Monthey's ice-rink also has a restaurant.
